The benefits to you are many: Pride of ownership is one of the first benefits you'll derive from selecting Case power equipment to serve your needs and with it, years of personal satisfaction knowing that you have invested in excellent quality and outstanding performance. Case "built like the big ones" styling is functionally designed to provide you with smooth, quiet performance, comfortable operations, quick response steering and easy maneuverability. The hinged hood and easily accessible engine compartment make servicing a breeze.
Tires provide the optimum balance between proper flotation and good traction to protect your lawn from skid and scuff marks. A single lever provides cushion control of speed and direction. On loader and loader/backhoe models ground speed is controlled by a foot pedal. One of the most important benefits of owning a Colt, Case or Ingersoll is the time-tested and proven exclusive hydraulic system. This exclusive hydraulic drive-system is composed of separate components providing an oil-only link between the engine and transaxle. No belts, shafts or pulleys to worry about.
Transaxle Engineering
The rugged transaxle is designed and built by Case. Like the big ones it will deliver long, dependable service. The heavy duty cast iron transaxle and hardened steel gears provide peak efficiency and long life.
Frame Design
The all-welded rugged twin channel frame is designed to withstand the stress of heavy loads. Center tread plate sections, dash tower and frame are an integrally welded unit for optimum strength and rigidity to withstand twists, strains and vibration.
Front Axle Design
Durable front axle is cast ductile iron and front spindles are large diameter forged steel to withstand rough terrain and shock loads. Built-in "stops" prevent over-steering.
The "Snap-fast" system for changing attachments
Case and Ingersoll call it the "Snap-fast" system and once you have changed attachments on one of these tractors, you'll agree it is a very appropriate name. Attached to the tractor frame are "snap-fast", spring loaded plunger type pins. They stay there at all times-no chance for pins to get lost. Equally important-no tools are required to change attachments. The mounting brackets on all Case and Ingersoll-built attachments are designed to fit perfectly with the brackets on the tractor. These attachments feature the snap-fast mounting convenience are the mower, snow blower, and front blade.
Additional Engineering and Design Features
Quick response steering - The tough gear and sector steering provides full right to left direction with slightly more than one full turn of steering wheel - make trimming and maneuvering easy on the operator. For a smooth ride Case led the way in vibration suppression at the source. Rubber isolation engine mounts insure a smooth, quiet ride extend the tractor life and reduce maintenance cost. Controls are "people engineered" for natural movement operation, with operator convenience and safety in mind.
