Ok, after perusing the owner's manuals (so I don't get yelled at) I noticed that there is no 118 manual... I looked at the 117 manual but that didn't help (the 117 has a different hydro in it) How the heck do you "shift" the hydrostat into freewheel mode to push it around?? I looked breifly at the tractor tonight and nothing really stood out...

You make a dolly on casters and put the rear wheels of the 118 onto the dolly. Then you can push it around. :sidelaugh:


AFAIK, there is no such thing as a free-wheel valve on those hydros.

I pick mine up by one wheel and turn it while holding it (in opposite direction I want the tractor to go).

I am going to have to give Guider a call, since I remember him mentioning something one time many moons ago about a release lever, that didn't work very well........
