Anyone have any good techniques to compress the pressure discs on the 195 clutch for assembly and disassembly? Currently I am using a wheel puller to compress the disc along with vice grips. There has to be a better way.

One technique I used was to stack the PTO and a couple of deep wall sockets in a bench vice. place the assembly in a vice with one socket on each side of the retaining ring and compress the washers. Once compressed, remove the ring and open the vice. It is a juggle but can be done. I have to work on the drive clutch on my 120 soon and am going to do it without removing the assembly from the engine. Gonna make a tool to straddle the retaining ring. Install a threaded rod into the crankshaft snout, put the tool over the rod, and then install a nut. Turn the nut to compress the washers and then remove the ring.
