Compared to what $2,000 would get you at a big box store that is a good deal if, as he says, it's in good condition. It appears he has a mower repair business and should stand behind the sale if a local buyer takes it. I know a lot of people who will pay top dollar for something if they know the seller will take care of it if a problem arises. Now I wouldn't pay much for something where the real condition is unknown from a seller I don't know. Not everyone is a cheapskate like those of us on this forum. :sidelaugh:

I don't see you rushing to upstate New York to snatch up this apparent bargoon, Bart. If he put that thing on e-Bay, he'd be lucky to get a $700.00 bid for it. We may be a bunch of cheapskates but most of us are smart enough not to pay nearly triple the amount for a tractor. Repair shop biz or not, he's not going to give a 100 percent warranty for a full year on that machine.
