Bob hope you don't mind me posting pics and talking about the gathering. This was an excellent event! Bob generously shared his extensive knowledge of small engine maintenance and troubleshooting.
There is excellent highway access to Camp Oakdale. I am close but I have to cross Long Island Sound by ferry. Hope to see fellow members there!

It was nice today, snow is melting but Golden Cove is still covered with ice. I think it is time to start thinking about getting the mowers on soon! I been real busy at work and getting the renovation complete...almost there, floors go in next weekend then maybe I can get back to the tractors! :chopwood:

Rich, I'm kind of waiting to see what fuel costs do. It's about a 700 mile round trip for me, and with fuel prices quickly approaching $4.00/gallon, along with pulling a trailer, it may not be possible this year. :headscratcher:

Hi Scott,
I fully understand, when I tow my mileage goes from 14mpg to 7mpg and my V10 no longer likes 87.
I'll be towing to York, PA the last weekend of March for a model train show, but the club pays for the gas fortunately!!!!
You know that gas will only go higher especially here in Taxonnecticut!!!! I was going to sell my VW Jetta diesel but with diesel at $4.20 and 40mpg I'll keep it as compared to my one ton V10 van at 14mpg!!!! :facepalm:

I had all the folks sign a release so Ingersoll could use the pics in a news letter and I gave the list to the Ingersoll distributor that was present and I didn't have a chance to copy it. I haven't seen anything about the newsletter from Ingersoll.
I know that one of the guys had a photo in a post office in Columbia and I don't mean Columbia CT either, but that was 26 years ago and he has gained 45 lbs since then and no longer in the military!! Anyone venture a guess as to who that may be????? HaHa!!!! :sidelaugh:

I can tell you that the 2nd and 3rd guys from left, rough and tough, handsome, virile lady killers are me and the Mackie, respectively. Bill is I think about number 9 from the left way in the back. Scott I hit thank you on your post by accident, please disregard. We all appreciated that you came all that way last year. Gosh no one could blame you if you can't make it.
On Long Island they are talking about $4.50 a gallon this summer. We pay even more because of taxes. :222: :446: Best Regards, Rich
