Yes... it was a great place to grow up in. My folks had a place on the main drag 3 house up from the Lake. As most small villages, it has changed over the years. Mayville at one time had 5 manufacturers in town, one being Ethan Allen, now there's none. The Chautauqua Institution keeps the economy going with a little help from Mayville being the County seat.Nice work on your 4016. Mayville is a beautiful area on Lake Chautauqua. I love going there to vacation and enjoy the lake. Good luck on the poker run.
Keep the Peace ✌

Well I've been busy working on the tractor these last few days. I changed engine oil, oil filter, gas filter. Replaced the battery, drained and replaced the hydraulic oil (used Shell Rotella 15w40) and filter. Replaced a hydraulic hose (pump to valve), pressure washed and greased what I could find, 6 fittings. Had to put Green Slime in one of the front tires, rims are a little rusty. Took some rubbing compound to fenders and hood, then gave it a sudsy bath, also took a clay mitt to the sheet metal. Then I went over the top and gave it a Ceramic Coating... lol
I thank the help I got with the hydraulic oil selection and a few other things I found on this group.
Tomorrow I head to my home town of Mayville NY for a Lawn Mower Charity Poker Run. It's the 11th year for the Charity and I have never been, I'm looking forward to it. After about 13 years or so setting, I hope the old girl doesn't let me down!!
Wish me luck,
Bill

What oil filter did you use? I think there is a difference between the OEM filter and a car filter.Well I've been busy working on the tractor these last few days. I used the OEM one from B&S. There is two different ones that will work, one has more capacity (longer) than the other. The B&S number for the one I used (the longer one) is #24847-91056.What oil filter did you use? I think there is a difference between the OEM filter and a car filter.
