Chris's post mentioning variations by year brings something to mind...Can anyone tell me, is that extra-robust brake pedal a 1974-only item? That seems to be the only year I've seen it on. Earlier models I've seen use the simple bent flat iron or bent rod styles, later ones I've seen use the bent rod style. :headscratcher:

Very nice revival, brings me back, my dad still has his 444 of the same vintage. You might want to switch sides of the lift links though so your deck will sit more squarely with the tractor. Bent link on the right on the outside of bent rockshaft plate and straight link on the left on the inside of the straight rockshaft lift plate.
