The 646 FEL still needs some fine tuning but it's coming along nicely. I had it out yesterday driving up and down the driveway after putting on a new ball joint on the spool of the tcv. Now it moves equally in forward and reverse. Next on the agenda is to go through my H70 tiller for the back to get ready for gardening season.

The fenders were first fabricated to fit that were made from an old 250 gallon oil tank. Then I added some 1/2" rebar to the edges to eliminate any sharp edges. In process I decided to be artistic since these were one of a kind fenders. By hand I put down the Case letters with a soapstone. Then with E6011 electrode I spot welded over the lettering making little dots for the letters. After some sand blasting and cleaning I painted the fenders with black truck bed paint. After drying I used power yellow paint and brushed paint on the edging and the Case lettering dots. It took a few coats of the power yellow to get it to stand out to my liking. This is a mostly stock tractor and the fenders and wheels could be taken off and the original ones put back on. No extra holes were drilled anywhere I used existing hole locations.
