Hang on a sec.....

It's all scratched........ and ...and.... there's some nasty surface rust on it too...... Hmmmmm. Seventy-five bucks........I'm gonna have to think about that for a few days.... maybe...offer him $50.00 for it and see if he'll drop his price a bit.

You need a lift adapter plate? I'll make one for you.
Case220,

thanks for the offer! If I need one I'll be sure to look you up.
I was saying I thought $70 for a 44" plow with no lift plate was a decent, not great deal.
old abe

i got email back stating just sold.

In all honesty, I have seen guys get even better deals than that one but .......I have watched 54" blades sell for $400.00 on e-bay more than once and I've seen lots of 44" blades bring well over $200.00. IMO, seventy-five bucks is a deal and you can use a 44" blade on a 400 series as long as you don't angle it all the way.

If that blade is not bent or the edge worn half way into the bolts, then someone should snap it up. It's amazing what a nice coat of paint will do for the value of an item.
That ad has now been deleted.

Anixon,
Yep.

Hydriv, prices around these parts are around 50-60% of midwest prices. (but starting to slowly catch up, KM3H's 444, and other "steals" were from this area)

I have a 52", picked this up because it was a decent deal. C/I plows show up a few times a year on CL here, but hardly ever in the winter (prime sale market). Pivot needed some PB blaster, and persuaison, but it's in good shape.
One of the things that is asked on forums all the time is "value".

I have said that value is hard to pinpoint because where you live often has a huge effect. A tractor that will sit for months with an asking price of $500.00 would be snapped up in another location, the same day the ad appeared.
Exactly,

Now...... how to go about buying all the C/I stuff 'round here, then send one big truckload west???....... :headscratcher:

I couldn't agree with you more,Tom.
