It may be ugly to many of you but I look upon such tractors as beautiful.
When they get to this stage of their life, almost no one wants them. There's heavy rust on the fenders and wheels, the air cleaner is missing, the exhaust is wrong, I think that the Armstrong lever is missing its button and the paint is.......disgusting.
However..... all of that is irrelevant if you are intending to do a true restoration of a Sunset tractor. All that really matters is how far down you can force the price. Yes... he says he's firm but if the phone does not ring and you're the only one to show up, then things change. He wants it gone but he doesn't want to give it away. For all you know, there's a pair of 777's lurking in that hood.
