Hello everyone. I do not own a Colt, Case or Ingersoll tractor yet but I used to lurk quite a bit over in the MTF CCI forum trying to learn everything I could about these machines. I say "used to lurk" because the member whose posts I really enjoyed reading is no longer over there, but is over here [cgt/castoff]. I guess I took an interest in these machines about a year and a half ago and I am looking foward to getting back to learning about them. Hopefully in the near future I will be able to contribute as well.

As far as I know, there is no member here by the name of "CGT" or "Castoff".

All the same though, you are welcome to stick around here and see if one of them shows up.

Welcome to the forum.

Thank you for the welcome Tom. I guess you are right, neither "CGT" or "Castoff" seem to be members here. I think it's gonna work out ok though, because I have been reading your posts and you seem smarter than either of those guys! [wink wink].

I'm happy to be a member here. Thanks for the welcomes one and all.

That's great. Although rare, Case/Ingersoll GTs does come up on Long Island once in a while. And I see Nutcase 2 is right in the city (50%). This is good, we are somewhat close we may be able to help each other out with purchases and stuff like that from time to time if need be. :222: :446: Best Regards, Rich
PS Would you believe that I purchased a beautiful original condition Case 224 in Staten Island?

Rich, How far out east are you?

Problem for me is, you don't find many GTs in NYC. :sidelaugh: :sidelaugh:

Nutcase 2: I am about mid island on the south shore in Brookhaven near the Great South Bay. If anything ever came up here for purchase, you guys would be welcome to store it at my place until pick up, and that would hold true for any member on the site. As many know it is tough getting on and off this island. When I go to New England I take the Orient ferry. Brought a tractor home on the ferry last year! :usa: Unfortunately Case/Ingersoll sightings are rare on Long Island! Best Regards, Rich
