Hi, I have a 1974 Case 444, it came free with my cottage 2 years ago. The tractor is still holding up one end of the woodpile and the engine has moved from the cottage shed to the garage at home. The piston and connecting rod are still MIA! The mower deck and snowblower are at opposite ends of the cottage property, not sure why!
I'll be taking the engine in for a rebuild as soon as the Christmas bills are paid.
I live in Hamilton, the cottage is near Sharbot Lake, in between Kingston and Ottawa

Thanks for the warm welcome - I have to admit the tractor being part of the package played a big part in the purchase! The ads you speak to are also on this site in the Buy/Sell/Trade section. The chap's name is Chris and he's someone I've done business with in the past. Presumably, the cost of raising his young family are once again putting pressure on him to shrink is collection because it surprises me to see his 130 for sale.

As for your situation, you find all the help you need right here.

BTW, how did you find us? Did someone send you or did you stumble on us during a search?
