What type/mfg and name of the black paint used for a Black Knight garden tractor?
Restoring a Black Demonstrator and want to put original sheet metal on shelf and paint some replace sheet metal.

Sem makes a single stage black called hotrod black thats what i would use if restoring a original or building a copy

I think the shade of black used (or at least what it appears to be) is a semi gloss or satin black. Dave Bieter would have a better idea as I think he’s restored at least one Black Knight Demonstrator.

I would assume it’s just power black.
