We have the thread started by Caseracer on this forum and this tractor is exactly what he used to make one of his hotrods. Of course, I wouldn't want to pay anywhere near the asking price of this listing if I was intending to make a race machine but at least this is evidence that those older LT's are out there if you look for them.

I'm not sure what to value the package at. It is a very small tractor compared to most, but at the asking price you are still at less than half the cost of a big-box special. If it is truly in mint condition, It should have many more years left in it which should make it a bargain. The 100 series LTs hold up very well and give an excellent cut, but with the shallow deck design they are less than ideal for mowing high, thick grass. Also, with a weight under 400 lbs. and 8 inch rear rubber I have to question how usefull the front blade would be, even with weights and chains. So what it comes down to is, if someone needs a durable mowing tractor for an actual lawn and doesn't want to spend a fortune, then this is the machine for them.

Congratulations to the Seller.

Every package must be looked at from more than one perspective. If someone has a small property and needs to plow snow and cut grass etc, then that 108 is a nice machine. Case quality is there so how could he go wrong? It was far too good to turn into a lawn racer and I"m pleased that it found a home where it will be put back to the use it was designed for.

That mower sold, guy was on MTF asking about them after he bought it.
He might even be here too?
Sounds like the LT probably got a good home. As John and Tom said it is probably a nice package for a suburban home with a small lot. If the owner is here I'd love to see the side view picture-these little Case tractors are really neat looking. Congrats if yo' here! :222: :446: Best Regards, Rich
