This post is a follow up on my prior post about using a 446 fender support and fenders on a case 648. A helpful poster suggested I get the correct parts for my 648 fabricated locally instead of modifying a different part. Great idea, and I finally found a shop that would make the fender support for a reasonable price and they can do it tomorrow (which means I can work on getting the tractor running over Thanksgiving break!). Problem is I dont have the original rear seat support bracket from a 644/646/648 to use as a template.

Any 644/646/648 owners that could lend a hand? I need just the dimensions for the rear seat support bracket. Based on the front seat support I have estimated the back seat support to be:

19.5" wide
8.875" high (outside to outside)
1.5" offset flanges (shaped like a Z)
thickness: 11 gauge

If anyone can measure what they have and confirm or correct my dimensions I would be deeply indebted.

thickness: 11 gauge Correct

Thank you so much - soon my tractor seat will have a proper support thanks to you! Right now the seat is supported by the tank (prior owners idea....not mine).
