Anyone know what the proper thickness is suppose to be for the friction discs on the 155/195 clutches? Mine looks pretty thin-at least compared to the 200 and 400 series clutches.
As I remember, the 195 friction discs are much thinner than the 400 series, around 1/8" if not less. I think I have a NOS pulley with new discs somewhere, I will try to locate it and give you a more exact measurement. As long as there is material left, it really doesn't matter as you can just add shim washers to compensate for wear.
Bob-thanks for the help. Seems like since I have it apart and going to replace the bearings, I might as well addrss any issues with the friction discs. I probably have 1/16 inch now.
