On a K241 with an external coil does the condenser lead hook to the positive or the negative? Original coil started leaking and when I switched it out I couldn't remember. Thanks for your help :???:

It connects to the NEGATIVE side of the coil (same side the wire from your points goes to). Check out page 73 of your service manual for this diagram:
