Damaged 446

I discovered a 446 pushed in the back corner at a local case dealership.

It looks to me that the poor tractor fell off a truck at some point and has some front end damage. It had a Rototiller attached and a mower deck. Going back to get a better look at it get some pictures, and put in an offer.

Any ideas what she would be worth.

Steering is all buggered up and the mule drive is damaged. Few dents on the roto and mower deck but nothing major. She had a B43M Onan in her which the mice may have got to.

You are not giving us much to go on. All we know is that is a 446 with a deck and tiller. Photos are essential. A serial number would also help. Front end damage could mean it needs a used hood but it also might mean that the frame is bent, twisted or damaged along with the front axle. The deck could have been warped by the fall and the tiller might have a bent tine shaft or broken chain case. There are two scenarios here.

1. The asking price is so ridiculously low that you can't go wrong no matter what is wrong with it.

2. The asking price is high and YOU have to go over this package with a fine tooth comb to determine the true extent of the damage.
if it is stuffed in the back id offer them a hundred bucks and see what happens dont know if ya dont try

A tiller means it at least has a sleeve hitch and pto...if everything still works then that's $5-600, more if in decent condition. As Hydriv said, we can't make any guesses without knowing more about the tractor. I'd offer $250. Depending on how much damage there is, if the hydraulic lines, oil cooler and frame are still intact, and if the engine still runs, it could be worth 3-4 times that.
