If so, here's a TIP for you.
If you go to the main page (Board Index) that lists all of the individual forums and bulletin boards and you look on the far right side of your screen, just above the dark Power Red line near the top of the page, you will see the words "Mark Forums Read".
If you click on that icon, all of the black dots on every post in every forum and bulletin board will be erased. From that point on, every time you see a black dot in a forum, it is telling you that there is a new thread or new post within that thread that you have not looked at previously. When you click on the last page or last post of that thread, the black dot will then disappear, thus telling you that you have read all the latest posts in that thread.
In addition to being able to wipe out all of the black dots everywhere in one foul swoop, you can also wipe out those dots on a forum by forum basis by looking in the same spot when you enter any individual forum. The wording changes to "Mark Topics Read".
By wiping the slate clean 100%, you will be be able to easily spot when a new post or new thread has shown up since your last visit. Even when you are logged on and busy in one forum reading/responding to the latest posts; any new posts in any forum will be highlighted with the black dot.
Maybe you already knew this......... maybe you didn't. I don't care. :sidelaugh: You have now been told! Consider it a belated Christmas present from me and be happy you finally got something. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Two other useful tools here are the "View new posts" and "View active topics" links towards the top right and left respectively.
View new posts will give you topics that have had a reply or post since your last visit. View active topics lists discussions that have had replies in the last few days.

Been utilizing the feature for a long while now, one of the neat things designed into the site, thanks for including it and the refresher course. Big Birthday coming up in a few days for the site, congratulations on a busy and productive year!
