Having worked in the auto parts biz for 10 years I've seen most of the gimmick plugs. The truth of the matter is that in the real world they don't preform any better than a standard plug that is kept clean and gapped according to OEM specs. Platinum tipped plugs are better on engines that have difficult spark plug placements but you'll have a hard time convincing me that a kohler K series falls into that catagory. :sidelaugh:
I had a friend that tried those all fuel plugs that came out in the 70's. He believed them when they said he'd burn less fuel with a 50\50 gas and diesel mix in his B John Deere. Well, he said he burned just as much fuel, if not more, and had less power. But on the bright side, the kid next door only stole the gas out of it once after he switched. :sidelaugh: :sidelaugh: :sidelaugh:
