I have an early K321 that was originally breakerless ignition with the alternator, somewhere between 1969 and today it was partially changed over to standard points ignition.. I just bought it and am rebuilding the motor (it was a smoker and knocker) It did not charge, I checked the stator and it is dead. Is the old style stator still available?? If not can I retrofit a newer style? If so, do I have to change the flywheel?
