On ebay I could see it going for that. The Pedal Tractors that Murray Ohio made back in the 50's go for that and sometimes more....

Actually, I believe $400 is VERY reasonable for an original in that condition, especially with a correct wagon. I would expect it to bring more at a farm toy auction.

Yes, that is a great example. I see them on the bay pretty often. Murray made all kinds of pedal cars, pedal tractors, pedal airplanes etc.

I agree whole heartedly, I paid almost $300.00 for a current Magnum Case and trailer for my boys about 5 yrs back!!! $400 is a steal!

I was pretty surprised to see it listed under the farm & garden category, I wouldn't think that to be the best place to reach the target audience.

Tom, is that 600 series ad a tin sign? I've never seen one. I wonder if that Case construction pedal will be worth a bunch one day. They didn't seem to make many of them.

Those are tin signs but they are reproductions that can be bought on e-Bay every day.

The market for the pedal tractors continues to grow. I'll admit that they are interesting but I'd much rather spend $400.00 to buy a real GT that can be cleaned up and shown than to drop that kind of coin on a kid's toy.

Mind you, the kid's toys do have their advantages. They weigh less, take up less room, don't need batteries, fuel, greasing and many other maintenance issues but you look so retarded trying to drive them.
