Small, medium and large.

And with some mods, we can supersize that for you sir.

38", 44" and 47 7/8" are the sizes.

The 44" meal can either be left side discharge, or rear discharge, but not both at the same time unless you let it rust for a few years or get out the torch. :sidelaugh: :sidelaugh:

*edit*
the 44" rear discharge is a different design altogether utilizing special ducting to route the clippings a certain way, I don't think a lefty could be converted. Just to be clear.
These tractors are either 3 digit models (like your 224) or they are 4 digit models (3012, 4016).

The 3 digit tractors with the Snap-Fast system were made from 1971 to 1988 and the decks were all Left Hand Discharge except for the MODEL 45 rear discharge deck. All the decks will clip onto all the tractors but not all will work properly.

However, for YOUR purposes, all you need to know is this. You can use any 38", 44" or 48" Left Discharge deck on your tractor that has the Snap-Fast mounting harness.

No.... you cannot use a 60" deck. No..... you cannot use the Right Hand Discharge decks because those are ONLY for the 4 digit tractors.

Damn and I was bragging that for Xmas my wife increased the size of my deck by 4 inches, now I find out it was only 3 7/8". Oh well it is still a bigger deck than what I had before then. :sidelaugh:
This guy has a rear discharge deck. Looks like no bagger for me
