That is because you looked at the link when it was still there and C/L planted a cookie in your computer. Just like you, I can see it on my Mac but I cannot see it on my PC because I never clicked on the link earlier with my PC. If you cleared your cookies, you will not see it any more.

I am just wondering because although the listing is flagged, the way I am now posting the CL ads the contact info is still there and clickable. What I am wondering is once the ad is flagged is the contact info [email link] still valid? I was going to send a test email but do not want to spam anybody.

Since it was spiritofT90 that responded here, I think that it is fair to conclude that Herm owns this machine.

I cannot comment on whether the Craigslist e-mail link remains usable or not, once an ad is removed for any reason. I will look into that, just out of curiosity. Of course, you could send a test e-mail to Herm to see if he gets it or not. Just state what you are trying to do and ask him to provide you with a reply to confirm he received it. Herm reads here on a regular basis so I am sure that he will revisit this thread shortly.

OK, will do. I was leary about coming off as a pest.

If the contact links stay active after flagging, then the complete posting of the CL ads here are of even more importance to the group.

Herm was kind enough to help with my test. As an FYI to the group.....
Even though a CL ad gets flagged, the original "contact link" stays active.

So what does this mean?

As long as I or another member posts the entire CL ad, the contact link remains good even when the ad has been flagged and removed.
