I sure hope that you are going to sweep up after yourself.

Jack's crew won't be happy with all that white sand blowing around when the wind picks up. If I were you, I wouldn't be turning my back on the sheep, goats, Llama's or the dogs.

Who was that masked man posing in front of that green tractor?
Nutcase

Are you firing up the powdercoater for these items.
how long would you say that took you?
I am thinking of picking up a pressure pot. set up a blast booth.
It probably took less time than sanding or grinding it off would. I love the way things come out when they're blasted.

Makes a wicked mess though. Notice carefully how Jim is at Jack's house and not at his own.
Are you using silica or soda?

After you have the pressure blaster set up probably 5 minutes if it doesn't clog up on you Sylvester.

sounds good to me!.
could probably set up one of those small steel sheds to use as a booth and reuse the media.
I do my blasting out on a large tarp, then screen the blast media for reuse.
It looks to me like he is using play sand, the same thing I use.......... but I wear a respirator!!!... Looks to me like a hot sticky job this time of year!!

DJB
Sand and no mask or respirator?

Someone needs to look up Silicosis...

Thanks to all...
Now if we could only figure out Why it isn't firing...we have air pressure in the tires...

First It prob took about 15 minutes after we had the pressure right. Worked absolutely flawlessly. I think the sand was regular Silica sand. As far as the photo goes...it was a pose, I id d use a respirator. And Really Tom, do you think for one moment Jack would waste a single grain of sand? I thought at first he was kidding when he asked me to wash each grain of sand by hand and dry it before I put it back in the hopper.

As for the Deere...I was tryin to cover it as much as I could...sharp eye! Now if we could only figure out Why it isn't firing...we have air pressure in the tires...
OK, I guess you weredoing the smart thing with the play sand... :trink: .I bet if you didn't clean up the sand one of the llamas would have!!! :sidelaugh:
