I first posted on the classifieds looking for parts for a project, and got a lot of help and insite. I've been reading old posts and archived documents to learn more about Case Ingersoll tractors in general.

I'm convinced I can install a 4 cylinder power unit in a 446, and I'm starting to gather parts to do that. I'm working with a friend that's installing a flathead Ford in an IR GT as well. Just novelty tractors, really, and we were inspired by the little hot rod tractor Grummy had at a tractor show. I'll keep a pictoral as we go along, and post from time to time. Maybe we shouldn't be doing this, but we can so we are.

I appreciate the insite so far, and I look forward to hanging out on here from time to time.

Welcome to the forum.
Glad to have you with us.

I think you would have to do an awful lot of fabrication to fit a 4 cyl in a 446. Not saying it can't be done, but would be a lot of work.

And by all means,if you do this, please do post some photos.

I remember your last post, I would say don't rush the project, if done right it will be something special. You will have to be serious about the conversion , there will be a ton of fab work. Carry on and good luck , oldfrank .
