You to Lady :sidelaugh: :sidelaugh: :sidelaugh: :sidelaugh:

I've got my 224-79 totally disassembled and most all the worn areas rebuilt. I've got nearly all the new OEM parts that were required sitting on a shelf. And since I tore this apart 2 years ago I have no idea where to start. :headscratcher:

I'm not into Painting and thought I would reference the parts manual and reassemble my 224 and then take it to painter and they could give it a Factory Paint Job. I could bring it home and finish the assembly. My k-321 has been returned from my Kohler dealer and has a leak down of 8%. My pump stalled my 224-79 at 2650 lbs when it had a leak down of 12%. If I were interested in the cost I would part it out and get some return on my investment but since this has been my workhorse for thirty years and now is a family member I just can't be the one responsible for it's demise.

We sold our acreage in Nov that was home to this unit since buying it in 1981 and are living in our downtown Regina House on our 27' X125' lot, I got a Brand new Ariens walk behind for my 14' x27' driveway but I want to keep my 224-79 in Case we ever get the storm of the century. :sidelaugh: :sidelaugh: I think my baby will be like Boomers 83 or 84 (lol) 448 and will never sleep outside again. :sidelaugh: :sidelaugh:

If any of you have thoughts on how to reassemble my loved, one I would appreciate your opinions.

I'm going to get a Factory Blade to replace my Sears blade on the advice of cuzin Bart and Heretico from a couple years ago on yahoo. :sidelaugh: :sidelaugh:

I might add my non OEM 3 spool valve to my right hand fender in the future but not for now. :sidelaugh: :sidelaugh:

It will be a Trailer Queen for awhile but when the big storm comes I'll have my 224-79 RR sitting in the corner of my shop and I'll be blowing the sidewalks of Downtown Regina with my 38" with wings. ( i need a set of wings) :sidelaugh:

If any of you have bought a box job and re-assembled it I would like to hear how you did it. :trink:

I have considered buying another Low Pro to see where things go but definitely don't have room to keep it.

Thanks Guys

Stewart I think the Low Pro also deserves some NOS Speaker 777s for the Canadian blizzards......and cruising the jungle paths..... :usa: :canada: When your guys get em' restored we should have a Case 224 party cause they're the best!

Rich

Already on the shelf ( thanks to Steve  ) sitting beside my new OEM plastic one's from Tom H .
I also got new gaskets with help from Cuzin Bart so I'm ready for the big Blizzard should it arrive

I'll have to check with the Lady if I can install the 777's or if I require the plastic one to keep my OEM status

I can assure you that when my 224-79 hits the streets of Regina there will be a huge celebration in Sask. Might even be worth a trip to the east coast :trink:
