Here is a few pics of a front weight attachment I made yesterday. I used a factory Case bracket that I bought on ebay a while back for about $25. The rest of the material was free. The steel is 1" thick and each one weighs 30 lbs. The entire thing weighs 250lbs at the moment and I may reduce that as I go through a trial and error with it this weekend. I will be making some brackets to mount this thing to the rear of the tractor for when I have the snowcaster on it. Its on the front now because Im pulling wheelies trying to drag huge rocks across the yard.

Nice  Good score on the steel :trink:
The steel comes from medical anesthesia l machines. It is used as weight in the bottom of the machines to stop them from tipping over. I rebuild and refurbish medical equipment so I get quite a bit of it.

I thought that was pretty nice looking scrap and so many pieces just the right size!

Nice job on the fabrication and design. It will also serve well as a front bumper and would be effective at bending over saplings for a hydracutter. It will probably do a good job opening doors in case you forget your keys too. :sidelaugh:

That's good to know. Now if you later post that you replaced the original hydraulic pump with a Jarvik pump we'll know where you got it! :sidelaugh:

You would be surprised at the amount of cool stuff I have access to being in the medical field.
