·When you're posting pictures to this site (or any site that has attachments disabled) what you're doing is pulling the image from a remote source other than this site/webserver.
This keeps bandwidth costs a lot lower than it would be with attachments turned on.
In order to remotely link pictures from another site you need to use a bit of html code. The code is as follows.
Here are a list of sites that I personally trust and have used for various things in the past. Most of them will organize all of your pictures into a nice album and you can post them as many times as you want and in as many threads as you want.
