Thanks for coming over from YT and joining.

If you explore this site, you will find our Tech section. We are currently populating that area with manuals just as fast as we can upload them.

There three different sections - Service Manuals, Operator's Manuals and Parts Manuals.

In the Parts Manuals, there are pictorial diagrams that show how the tractor was wired.

In the Operator's Manuals, there is an actual wiring diagram that also shows wire colors.

In the Service Manuals, there is an Electrical Service bulletin for Kohler powered tractors that has wiring diagrams in it.

The Parts and OP manuals are issued in accordance with the serial (PIN) of your tractor, along with the model number. You will find those two areas divided up this way. If we have YOUR manual, then there will be a link directly below that you can click on to obtain the PDF for that manual. You may download that PDF to your hard drive or you can print it out.

If you do not find either the parts or the Op manual there at the moment, then go to the Service Manual section, click on the Electrical and find the service manual for the Kohlers. Hopefully you will find what you need in one of those areas. IF NOT... then come back to this thread and tell us.

Kyle,
I just checked our library to see if we had the manual you need and the answer is no.

However....all is not lost.

Go to http://www.ingersolltractors.com

You will see a link on the left side under the green bars that says "Find your Illustrated Parts Manual. Click on that.

On the right side of the next page are a series of green bars.

Click on the X of the one marked Compact Tractors -Manual Steering and a drop down box will open up. Scroll down the the 224's and find the one in that section that deals with the PIN of your tractor. I believe that it's the first one in the 224 list. Click on the one that is correct for you and it will open up. If it is that one, then there are TWO different diagrams in that book. I'm thinking that you need the second wiring pictorial. Check the PIN's show on the top of the page to verify.

While that is not the greatest diagram compared to the one that comes in the Operator's Manual, it is correct and will serve your needs.

Our site started on Jan 3 of this year and we are working hard to put as many manuals in the library as we can lay our hands on. If you have other issues with your tractor, give us a shot at helping you solve them
