I replaced the hydraulic pump in my 646

My 646 had a weak hydraulic pump and I just replaced the pump and I am happy with it and would recomend this pump to anyone with a weak pump on there machine. I used the pump from http://www.surpluscenter.com/Hydrau...ics/Hydraulic-Pumps/Gear-Pumps/0-66-cu-in-CESSNA-26004RZC-HYD-PUMP-9-4436-B.axd and it is a new machine now. The loader is nice and fast along with the 3-point. The travel speed and pushing power are awesome. I checked the ground speed with GPS and it goes 7 mph in high gear and low gear is actually useable for driving around a bit. I feel like I just bought a new machine.

Congrats, glad you found that pump, it looks like it fits a lot better than other one would have, good job. I'm happy you are liking the tractor now, it will be worked hard this summer I'm thinking, you have plans to use that loader now, and it will work great, have power to do a lot of work, nice job, good job finding the pump to fit for it, know it took work to find that pump, glad you finally found it.

I just replaced the pump on my 646 with this pump and yes it is like a new unit. I also put a hydraulic return filter during the replacement and is working well. I hope this last me another 40 years. Thanks you Case Nut!!

I recently bought a case 444 (less engine and pump) what are your thoughts on the 0.66 CU IN for the 444, I will use it for drive, aux hydraulics and deck raise and lower.
