Got my 448 Ingersoll home

After a 7 hour ordeal due to lane closures, and a 81 in a 70 gift from Virginia's finest. I got the 448 home. It's decent. Needs cosmetic work. 580 hours on the clock which is working. 3 point hitch was not installed, but I got all the parts including the "T" fittings. New set of chains, and the rear tires are new. Worst part is the muffler has melted the headlights due to the muffler shield being rusted out. That's first on my list. Deck is decent. I'll put up some pics when my tired old ass recuperates a little. At least this one starts and runs good. More to follow.

Bob: Sorry to hear about the ticket. New tractor sounds real nice, the 3 point is a nice addition and expensive if you have to buy one. My plastic head lights are melted too on my 446, I want to get some glass ones eventually. Can't wait to see the pics! :trink: :222: :446: Best Regards, Rich

Bob:I just happened to see this on on E Bay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0555965369

I would check also with dealers on this site-I have no idea if it is a good price and match for 18 hp-maybe they can do better-is it a dealer available item or hard item to find-I don't know. Figured I'd grab it for you in case :trink: :222: :446: Best Regards, Rich

Fatbob,
Presumably, you uploaded several photos of your new purchase to Photobucket and you want to post them here.

Go to PB and log into your account.

Select a photo by putting your cursor on it.

A drop-down box will show up.

Slide your cursor downward off the photo and into the drop-down box until it reaches the bottom line.

Right click the bottom line while watching it and you will see it blink.

Come back here and start a fresh post. Put the cursor where you want the photo to appear. Right click and PASTE the link into the thread. All you will see is the typed link.

Want to add another photo?

Hit return three times to create a space between the first and second photo or type a description in that space.

Go back to PB, select another photo with the cursor, slide down and right click on the bottom line to capture the link.

Come back here and paste into your post.

When you are done, use the preview key at the bottom to see how your post will look before it is added to the thread. If you like what you see, then hit SUBMIT.
