It's ALIVE, It's ALIVE is a familiar line to all who have watched the movie Frankenstein. Right now, my partners Jack and Charles, along with myself, are beginning to have a better understanding of what Dr.Frankenstein was thinking and feeling as he saw his creation stir to life and raise itself off the table.

To be perfectly honest, I foolishly thought that I could control what was happening. As some of you know, I was trying to keep this site from going LIVE until this Friday. I now see that I'm no more in control.of what's happening here than the good Doctor was of his monster.

Therefore, I officially declare this site to be FULLY OPEN for business. PLEASE, begin posting everywhere that suits your needs and thank you, thank you, thank you for joining and showing your overwhelming enthusiasm for what the three of us have created here.

Glad to see it up and running Tom. Now you got your hands full with this bunch. Congrats. Now where do I send my contribution to keep it up and running?
If you notice.... I was smart enough to partner with 2 guys I trust and also add a trustworthy Mod. I am not a Mod. That leaves me free to improve the site with Charles and to post where I feel I can make a contribution.

As for monetary contributions from the membership, that is not necessary at the moment. But if the site gets big, then we may have to do something because bandwidth on the net does cost money. I blame it on Al Gore. So, right now everyone rides for free and we will keep it that way as long as we can. No promises, though.

Bob: We're quite a handful!!
Tom, Charles, Jack-This is extraordinary! 200 members in roughly two weeks! And the site is truly alive with highly knowledgeable GT "enthusiasts/mechanics/craftsman",collectors and people that want to get into it. And many good friends from the US and Canada! I think within a couple of months this site will be a monster. I really enjoy the site. Gentlemen be proud of your work, very proud! If you need any bucks down the road let me know. Thank you. :trink:  :222: :446: Best Regards, Rich

Rich,
I'm sorry but I have to correct your statement. We did not go officially live until last Sunday night. That means we had over 200 members join the site in just under ONE WEEK. Oh by the way, more are coming so you better run to the store and get some more refreshments. :sidelaugh:
