While sharpening my badly damaged deck blades I noticed they say right and left on them. When I was looking for replacement parts I see some sites give a each price and say you need three for a 44" cut. Now when I clicked on the blades description it states left hand blade. So am I supposed to order three of these? I didn't bother to measure the blades while I had them off so I don't know if they are different lengths.

When they say "left hand blade", that means it is for a Left Discharge Deck.....which is exactly what you have. Yes... you need three blades of identical length for your deck. The 48" deck uses one blade of one length and two blades of a different length.

Parts list calls for 2 outboard blades @ 17" and the center @16"

Jack`s small engine indicates three 17". Any body looking to purchase these, better triple check clearance.

Sorry for the hi-jack
