Ingersoll Case 448 lawn tractor - $900 (Menomonie WI)

For sale is a 1980 Ingersoll Case 18 hp Onan engine with a side side disharge 48 inch mower deck and a 52 inch three position push blade with snow chains. New mower blades last year, carb was rebuild and a new muffler 3 years ago. Front lights do not work. The new blades are sitting on top of the mower deck.
Her is a cut + paste that I have sent to others.
I have owned the tractor since 1992 and has been a solid runner. The lights do not work due to the muffler failing about 3 years ago. When the muffler failed, the back side of the grill got very hot and melted the back side of the lights. I have replaced the muffler and rebuilt the carbs 3 years ago. The only other issue is the clutch to engage or disengage the 48" mower deck. This clutch has failed about 10 years ago and had it repaired by Case. It has again failed about 2 years ago. When ever the tractor is started, when the mower deck is attatched, the blades run. Not a big deal, that is why I have not had it fixed. Does not leak any oil, I have always ran Amsoil synthetics which help it start on the coldest days for pushing snow. The blade is lifted by the hydraulic arms which also lift the mower deck. The blade can swivel to 3 positions. Last year I replaced the blades.
It is a gas 18 HP Onan engine and there is no hour meter. I have used it for cutting grass and pushing snow.
