Good Morning to All! :mrgreen: I just wanted to pass on 3 websites that have fantastic info on the subject of motor oil.This is usually a hot topic so here goes nothin'. The 1st site is "Bobistheoilguy.com"Great info and a good small engine forum.Very interesting stuff :thumbsup: The 2nd is on FarrariChat.com under articles by Dr. Ali E. Haas. Fantastic info on the lifeblood of our machines! :thumbsup: Lastly there is a little article about ZDDP ,ect. at "Carbibles.com/engineoil_bible" .It might change your mind on which oil to use in all your engines.I hope these sites spark a discussion here on this very important subject! :wave: Also,my 2 cents on Seafoam.I discovered this product when I bought a BMW 328 vert.The BMW guys swear by this stuff and thru my own experience I completely agree.When I used it to clean the combustion chambers,valves,ect. thru the brake booster hose( see on YouTube) it was AMAZING! Car was so smooth you could not tell the engine was running unless you looked at the tach.Also a documented 2.5MPG increase.Put it in the oil and ran for 100 miles and you cannot believe the crap that came out and the gunk is gone from the oil filler cap!Car purrs like a kitten!Enough said...you get the idea. Seafoam is a great product but I've had it foul a few 02 sensors on me when sucked through a vacuum hose. It hasn't stopped me from using it on every used vehicle I buy though.

For certain, I've arrived at genuine Kohler brand straight 30 for the warm months for my 14HP Kohler and 18HP Linamar. I know this oil is formulated for small air cooled engines with the proper soft metal additives. Not recommending this oil, its just what I do based on posts by individuals more knowledgeable than me.
