New Attachment Acquisition

Yesterday I picked up a nice used 6 foot cat 0 York rake. It has some nice features including adjustable trailing wheels that allow you to set and maintain the height. It also has scarifiers in front beneath the hitch and a swing away blade. I particularly like the blade as it remains permanently attached but can be quickly dropped or raised out of the way by removing two pins. The blade allows you to do most of what you can do with a dedicated rear grader blade.

Here are a few photos of the rake installed on my 7020 loader.

wow. I really like that. I sure could use something like that this summer.
Very nice attachment Bart. I like that it is two in one. Good luck with it. :usa: :usa: :usa:

Don't forget to add "Cool Implement Rental Service" on those cards for those of us who would pay money to borrow it for a weekend...
Bart,

Great score!

Any idea who the manufacturer is?

Thanks,

Joey
The manufacturer is York and I looked up the model on their web site--new list is $1600+ as configured, my price was $400 for the rake and 2 complete Onan engines.

For all you guys on the East Coast, I may load it on the trailer and bring it out to work for gas money and single malt.

That is pretty sweet. Do those 'scarifiers' act like mini rippers or something?
Thanks for the manufacturer info. I just re-read your original post and saw that it was a York. Opps! Do I need reading glasses or do I just need to slow down and comprehend what I have read?

Anyway, thanks for the info.

:sidelaugh: :sidelaugh: :sidelaugh: :sidelaugh: Rich......you just don't understand the Scots, do you? When Bart mentions single malt, he's set his price. You won't be tempting him with German beer, no matter how fine it is.

Hey, I'm not a snob--that beer would be a good chaser.
