The number of manuals that has already been downloaded to the site is impressive. :trink: Thank you Tom, Charles and whoever else has contributed to this effort. Attachments, hydraulics, aftermarket items, very comprehensive! No doubt this adds major value to the site. :usa: :canada: :222: :446: Best Regards, Rich

Charles has clearly listed many of the "missing" manuals needed to fill the library. I hope everyone will check their stash of manuals and see if they have some to contribute. If you don't have the time or capability to scan them I'd be happy to assist if you send me your manuals--I'll scan them and return to you.

I appreciate the words contained in this thread.

Charles spent much of yesterday installing the templates I sent him, into the Tech section. There is still some fine tuning to be done to the templates. There are more manuals waiting in the wings to be uploaded and it will likely take the better part of this month or even longer before I can say that I've exhausted everything in my own library.

My interest has always been centered on the Case and Colt years and therefore our biggest need lies in the Ingersoll years beginning with 1984 to present day. Operator and Parts manuals from this era are badly needed. Many of you own tractors that fall into this time frame. If you have manuals for them, then please let me know by PM.

Several members have generously taken the time to mail such manuals to me and those have been copied and returned to them in a matter of days. The objective is simple. We want to create the largest repository of Colt, Case and Ingersoll reference material on the internet at this site. This can happen with member cooperation. I look forward to hearing from you.

Tom, Charles and others -

The collection of manuals you have listed is unreal. I already located the operator manual for my 446 and all I can say is , "thank you". This is a substantial contribution to the community!

Tom is doing 99% of the work and it looks great.

All I'm doing is linking up the manuals he's created and inserting them into the forum.

A big thanks to everyone who has sent in manuals to be scanned. It really helps a lot.

If you're thinking of scanning in your own manual and turning it into a PDF for us please realize that Tom is very picky and will make you do it over if he doesn't like it. Just ask Bart. :sidelaugh: :sidelaugh: :sidelaugh: :sidelaugh: :sidelaugh: :sidelaugh:

Tom's a better teacher than scanner--just compare our finished products! :sidelaugh: :sidelaugh: :sidelaugh:

i'm still learning. Never used a scanner until last month. If I don't like what I did, at least I have the manual here to be re-scanned at a later date. I just push you guys toward perfection the first time round because I may not be able to get you to do them over if I accept something that is not A-1. :sidelaugh: :sidelaugh: :sidelaugh: :sidelaugh: :sidelaugh:
