I just bought a mid-70's 446 for $140.
The good, nice sheet metal, great mower deck, good rear tires and seems pretty unmolested.
The bad, the previous owner took the motor out of it for some reason or another. But its free and has some compression so I hope it can be rebuilt.

The hood is absolutely mint and has glass headlights. The one rear fender is a little dinged but nothing major and the mower deck is one of the best decks I have seen.

This project is unfortunately 3rd in line right now though so it will be awhile before she gets any attention. The order goes 224, Allis Chalmers WC, and the the 446.

So was it any of you guys on here that were bidding against me at the auction?

Oh and I hope it was someone on here that bought that poor colt tractor. If it wasn't for the fact I am not made of money and the lack of storage area I would have bought it just to keep it from going to the scrapper. I heard it sold for $15 or so.

Love it when I hear somebody gets a deal like that. :clap: I too hope the Colt will survive to run another day.
