Howdy Everybody...

Thanks to whomever it was for the invite I was sent to join this group...

I'm a retired electrician and spend a lot of time with my oldest grandson with
a '83' Case 446 that we just picked up last week... It has a blown Onan B43M
engine so I'm sure I will have a lot of questions for this forum in the furture...

Thanks again,
George (gtstoday)

Hey George,
Nice to have you with us. Working on these tractors with a younger generation is a great way to pass on a respect for quality iron and steel construction, and learn a lot about engines and hydraulics. Do this right, and your grandson could be working on the same 446 with his son (or grandson).

George/GTS! Welcome to the group! :trink: We're glad your here! There are some very knowledgeable and helpful members in the group. I am certain you will get the help here that you may need. Looking forward to seeing some pictures of your tractor and follow the rehab. I have a 1983 Case 224.Take a look at the Technical Section when you have a chance. We have quite a few members in the NY/metro area. I am right on Long Island. If anything ever comes up where I may be able to help you, e.g. CL listing, here please don't hesitate to contact me on or off list. Look forward to talking with you! Enjoy the site!

Welcome George,

I guess that I'm the "whomever" that sent you the invitation to join but that was about three weeks ago. Apparently, you don't make snap decisions. :sidelaugh: :sidelaugh: :sidelaugh: :sidelaugh: :sidelaugh: :sidelaugh: :sidelaugh:

You'll find an engine forum to help you get that Onan purring once again, along with our main forum to assist you with any issues regarding the tractor itself. Please.... spend some time taking a good look around at our site. There is a STICKY at the top of each forum to tell you how that forum should be used.

Cheers,

Tom
