Ok, so I found a "free" snapper LT (not the forrest gump RER, but LT) for a friend who only has a push mower. Picked it up, and I'm almost certain the valves need adjustment and the ACR will not let the engine turn over. It the 14.5 briggs w/OHV.
Question is how often will these valves need to be done? I have heard annually, and my friend is not at all mechanically inclined. Has anyone come up with anything to keep the valves adjusted longer than 12 months?
