Hi all - my name is Jeff, I live in NW Ohio. I use a 1988 Ingersoll 446 for plowing my long driveway. It's a new addition to the fleet, just bought it a few months ago after reading much about what to use for plowing snow. I blasted the wheels, plow and brackets and repainted all. All new tires - the rears are 6 ply Titan ags and the front are 6 ply's also. All the plow hardware has been replaced with stainless....... I have issues with stainless....... It also has custom made wheel weights, about 100 pounds on each wheel.

The tractor also has a 3 point and PTO, looking for a tiller for next spring. This is my first Case / Ingersoll and so far I'm extremely pleased in the tractor and what seems to be a very tough line of equipment.

Other than my children, my interests are my Harley and my tractors - depends on my mood as to which one heads the list....

Looking forward to reading and learning, and getting ideas for builds. I like to build my own trailers and implements whenever feasible.

Thanks for the forum, and best of luck.

Ha - sort of....... I just have a serious aversion to anything junk or cheap. I tend to overbuild, overfix, etc..... so the stainless fits right in ! Just drives me nuts when I see someone driving a new $40,000 truck with a $17 toolbox in the back, or with rusty license plate bolts..........

Hi Jeff,
Are you near Deshler?? I and some friends are railfans and we get out to Fostoria, Deshler, and Marion sometimes twice a summer. I too am a stainless steel fan having been a marine and aircraft mech for most of my life around the ocean.
