If something like that showed up near me, I would call him up and ask him if he had a Paypal account. If he said YES, then I would ask him to tell me what his Paypal e-mail addy was. I would then tell him that I wanted to buy his tractor then and there. My next move would be to send him the agreed upon amount via Paypal while I still had him on the phone. If he accepts the payment, the tractor is now mine. I would print out the receipt and drive to his home to retrieve my property.
If some other guy happened to show up and offer him more, then he best not accept because he's going to have a legal problem and so is the other guy if he has my tractor loaded on his truck or trailer.
The other guy would have the choice of either unloading or being arrested for theft. That's how you go about making deals like this. Sellers will often play games and unless cash has changed hands and there's paper to prove it, you could go on a four hour drive one way and find the tractor gone upon arrival
