I know I said I was done buying.....must stop....losing mind :crazy: Not bad 1974 446 for $100 and a 2 hour round trip on a beautiful morning.Pump and lovejoy are blown, but tractor is in pretty good shape.Tires are like new!Too many projects(Dakota is crying for ball joints this afternoon)...so this goes to the back of the shed.

Yes. There is a special front axle pivot that is hollow. This allows the PTO shaft to pass through it. The mechanical PTO has a belt on it that engages the pulley on the lower PTO shaft that goes through the axle pivot.

Just to satisfy your curiosity, here is a better picture of the E84 snowcaster. I will get under the hood of the new 446 tomorrow and see whats up with the exhaust. :thumbsup:
