Could anyone help me with where the original PTO is located on a 1978 444? I have a rough idea but would like a dimension on it from maybe the front axle bracket or something like that. I have an extra pulley rib on my diesel I'm swapping in that I might could figure out a way to use it for a belt PTO if the geometry works out. I ripped this picture off Google to hopefully help show what I'm asking for.

To the original question. This is on a 224, but the attachments are interchangeable so the dimension should be the same. The snow caster is mounted, with the belt on the stationary idler so should be straight.

Excellent, thanks so much! Roughly 3/4" looks like a winner, wouldn't put it past the engineers back then to make it an easy amount. Thanks again!
