I found out why the last owner had the throttle hooked in the opposite direction. The governor does not work. When the engine is running, the governor arm can be moved freely with no resistance. At first I thought it was the "custom twin" exhaust that sounded loud. But after putting a tach on it and reading 4600rpm I realized it was going to fast LOL. so just a little bit more work. Good thing is the linkage is all on and the new pump has no leaks.
