I don't know what the definition is you're looking for, but it would seem you got ripped off. :lol: :lol:
Parts Book, Parts Manual, Parts Catalog, Parts Catalogue are all interchangeable.
Yes.... Eastman does display many Parts books but ...... there are lots of parts books they don't have available on their website. Secondly, many of those books are from old micro-fiche discs and are full of artifacts. I refuse to download anything off their site and bring it here for our Tech section. While I appreciate the fact that Eastman has created this section, the quality of the effort made is sadly lacking.
I am pretty fussy about what ends up on this forum. I insist on the PDF's being single page scans so they are easy to read. Sometimes, I have no choice and I'd rather put a poor copy on the site for the moment and hope that someone will step up with a much better copy down the road so I can dump the junk.
If things work out the way I want them to, there will be no need for anyone to go to the Eastman site to look at Parts Manuals. They will find everything they need right here plus a whole lot more.
Up to now, I've been focusing on the Service Manuals and then the Op Manuals. As you can see, both of those sections are coming along nicely. My next project is the Parts Manual section and by tomorrow, I should have a pretty good idea which manuals I'm looking for. I'll keep your manual in mind.

No.... not actually. If he bought that manual from Ed, then he would have paid the going rate for it. Ed was well-known for NOT charging more than MSRP for items. Parts Manuals vary widely in price. Some can be as little as $16.00 while other manuals can cost double or more, like the one for the 648 loader tractor.Snotrocket said:
