So put the deck back on the Case 224 and cut the grass. Worked great. Still have stuff to do to it yet. Battery tray, battery, heat shield between engine and battery, seat, rust on the deck, and change the rear end fliud, which I’m doing now. Made some nice job of grass cutting. Deck doesn’t lift very well. Cylinder moves all the way up and down. But doesn’t move the deck very far. Only seem to move the front of the deck too. Rear wheels never get of the ground.

Woo hoo. I got a free seat for the 224. No more blanket and rags for a seat. Hehe. But it was yellow, so that had to change. Black now. It’s a bit big for the tractor, but will serve the purpose for now. Have another free one on the way, it might fit better.

I know about using rags for a seat. It sucks. I had my seat off, and we had a freak snow storm this winter. Glad you got a seat!!!!-------Metalguy
