I have been looking for a garden tractor with FEL for a while and saw this 7020 on CL and had to take a look and brought it home last night. 237 hours everything works perfect now I need to work on getting implements...
I did a lot of research before meeting the guy and there is very little info on these units. I have original owners manual, engine manual, 3 point hitch manual. If anyone would like them I can work on scanning them. I know they are not available anywhere I looked.
Hello and Welcome, Congrats on your 7020 (great machine)We are glad to have you here with us and hope you enjoy this great site.Take care from Bill & Charlie,Barneveld Imp. www.barneveldimp.com
Was this the one for $3500? If so you got a steal that thing is beautiful, I inquired about it, but was obviously to late. Congrats on the new loader!!!
Yes it was. The one in CT I was surprised he called actually I made arrangements immediately to get it. Said it needed battery but it seems fine to me.
Welcome aboard and congrats on your "new" 7020. Nice to see another member from the Ocean State in our ranks. Coincidentally, most of my Case/Ingersoll tractors are in storage in Westerly.
Very nice!!! And WELCOME to the forum. I live up Hopkinton and Casenoob is right over the border in Ct. I'm in the process of repairing my 4018's engine. I would love to get all of us and maybe Tim, when ever he is in town, together for a beer or two!
Thanks everyone. I'd be glad to meet up for a beer. I think buying this tractor may start a snowball effect... I like the older case tractors and I like the power kings too
Thanks Rich. After reading all the posts with custom fab work I think I should fab up my own grille out of stronger material maybe 3/8 rod. I am surprised with everything else built like a tank that the grille is so flimsy
Yes they are not too heavy duty. Probably goes without saying but if you fab I would meet or exceed air flow volume to engine with design. When I got my 646 it had steel floor grate for the grill. Rich
Congrats! I love my 7020 and it is the favored tool for almost all jobs bigger than the garden tractor. Has an available quick attach kit for the front end, which adds all manner of versatility through mini-skid steer attachments.
The new OEM grilles are readily available and quite cost effective ...
