cant seem to find the exact information to put my mind to rest.
can I use a 2900PSI hose to connect my tiller to my 4118d pto?

I think yes, the relief on the pto is 2200psi? but would be nice to be reassured. no one wants to have hydraulic fluid spraying everywhere.

The working pressure is fine but are you using a hose with at least 1/2" inside diameter?

:canada: great! the pressure didnt cross my mind untill I purchased the hose and wanted to be safe.
the inside is 1/2'' inside diameter (thats what the hose reads). I will till now

what would the minimum psi one could use and be safe? I am just curious.

all worked well, those hoses get HOT! after a good tilling. happy they are new.
neighbors must love me tilling till almost 10pm, like the coolness of the night with the tractors lights showing me the way :razz:
